Your portal (feedback, roadmap, changelog and docs) always has a Tuti address, like acme.tuti.so. You can also put it on a domain of your own or under a path of your website. Owners and admins set this up in Settings → Domain.

Pick how you go live
Settings → Domain opens with the card How do you want to go live?. It has three options:
Option | Looks like | Plan |
|---|---|---|
Tuti address |
| Every plan |
Custom domain |
| Pro and Business |
Sub-folder |
| Business |
Tuti address is where every portal starts. Nothing to set up: the card below shows the address with a Copy button. It comes from the URL you chose when you created the project, and there's no setting to change it.
Custom domain puts your portal on a subdomain you own. See Put your portal on your own domain.
Sub-folder puts your portal under a path of your website, served through your site. See Put your portal under a path of your site.
If your plan doesn't include an option, it's greyed out and says which plan it needs, like "A custom domain needs the Pro plan." See Plans and what each includes.

One at a time
A portal can have a custom domain or a sub-folder, not both. While one is set up, it stays picked and the other options are locked. The card says "To switch, remove … first", and choosing a locked option says Remove … before switching. Remove the one you have, then pick the other.
Your Tuti address keeps working
With a custom domain or a sub-folder live:
People who open your Tuti address are sent on to the same page at your own address.
Every link Tuti makes goes to your own address: emails, the sitemap and links from the API.
The widget keeps loading from your Tuti address, so the script tag on your site doesn't change.
If your plan changes
If your project moves to a plan without its custom domain or sub-folder, Tuti keeps the setup but stops serving it. Your portal answers at its Tuti address until the plan is back. Settings → Domain says so at the top, with See Billing.
Old links from another help center
Moving from another tool? Settings → Domain also has redirects, which send old addresses to their new pages. See Redirect old addresses to your new pages.
