This is a tour of Tuti's app for your team: where each part of a project is, how to jump to anything, and where your own account settings are.

The sidebar

The sidebar groups a project's pages by how often you'll use them.

The sidebar with Inbox showing 3 and Feedback showing 4, and the project switcher open with View portal, the project list and Add project

The pages you'll use every day:

Then the pages about your users:

At the bottom are Customize, for owners and admins, and Settings.

Counts

A number next to a page says how much is waiting for your team. It goes away when nothing is.

  • Inbox: open conversations. The same number shows before the page's title in your browser tab, like "(3)".

  • Feedback: posts still Open, waiting to be triaged.

  • Autopilot: posts and articles waiting for your review.

Fold it away

The button at the top left of the page folds the sidebar down to its icons, and opens it again. On a phone the sidebar is hidden: the same button opens it, and it closes when you pick a page.

Switch projects and open your portal

The project's name and its portal's address are at the top of the sidebar. Click them to open the project switcher:

  • View portal opens your portal in a new tab.

  • Projects lists every project you're on. Pick one to switch to it.

  • Add project creates a new one.

The app opens on the project you had open last.

Find anything with ⌘K

Press ⌘K on a Mac, or Ctrl K on Windows and Linux, or click Search under the project's name. Start typing to narrow the list.

The search menu with "export" typed: two posts, a conversation and a docs article that match

The menu offers:

  • Actions: New article, New changelog entry, and New post (on your portal), which opens your portal in a new tab.

  • Pages: every page in the sidebar, plus Boards. Owners and admins also get each Customize section, such as Customize · Branding.

  • Settings: the settings pages you can open.

  • Posts, Conversations, Docs (articles and collections) and Users whose name matches what you type, from 2 characters, up to 5 of each. Type a number, like #12, to find post or conversation 12.

Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to open, and Escape to close. In the editor, ⌘K adds a link instead.

Settings and Customize

Settings has everything about how the project works, in groups:

  • Project: General (the name), Team & roles, Access, Single sign-on and Domain.

  • Users: Groups, Who's asking and User properties.

  • Support: Inbox and email.

  • AI: AI answers, Writing style, Autopilot and Models.

  • Connections: Integrations and Developers.

  • Billing.

Owners and admins see every page. Members see Team & roles only.

Customize is how your portal looks and what's on it: Branding, Navigation and Docs home; Content actions and Widget; SEO and Custom code. See How Customize works.

Your account

Your name is at the bottom of the sidebar. Its menu has:

  • Account settings, for your own account in every project:

    • Profile: your Name and Photo, shown on your posts and comments. Without a photo, your initials show. Choose Save.

    • Password: enter your Current password and a New password of at least 8 characters, then Change password. It signs you out everywhere else.

    • Autopilot's email: how often Autopilot emails you. See Autopilot's emails.

  • Theme: Light, Dark or System, which follows your device.

  • Sign out.

Verify your email

Until you verify your address, a strip at the top of the app says "Verify your email." with Resend email, which sends the link again. The × at its end hides it in this browser. Account settings still shows Not verified next to your address, with Resend email, until you open the link.

Invites to other projects show at the top of the app only once your email is verified. See Invite your team.

Get help

On tuti.so, the button in the corner of the app opens Tuti's own help and feedback, already signed in as you. It's hidden on Customize pages, where the preview shows your own widget.
