Customize โ†’ Navigation sets where your portal starts and the links around it: in the header, above your docs' sidebar and in the footer.

Navigation's Home page, Header links and Contact us settings

Choose your home page

The Home page card picks what your portal's address opens:

  • Feedback: your first board. This is the default.

  • Roadmap: what's planned, in progress and done.

  • Changelog: what you've shipped.

  • Docs: your articles, for a portal that's mostly docs.

Unlike the rest of Customize, it saves as soon as you pick it: a message says "Your portal opens with โ€ฆ now", and the preview opens the new home page. Readers still reach every part from the portal's header.

To send other addresses somewhere else, use Redirects; the home page itself can only be changed here.

Header links sit at the right of the header, such as your website or pricing. You can add up to 5.

  1. Choose Add header link.

  2. Type a label (up to 40 characters) and a full https:// address.

  3. Choose Save changes.

The cross beside a row removes it. A row left empty is skipped when you save.

Add a Contact us button

Contact us adds a button at the right of the header.

  • Goes to: a page (https://example.com/contact) or an email address (mailto:[email protected]). Leave it empty for no button.

  • Label: the button's text, up to 30 characters. Leave it empty for "Contact us".

The portal's header with the logo, Website and Pricing links and the Contact us button

On phones and tablets, the header links and the button move into the portal's menu.

  • Docs sidebar links: up to 5, above your docs' tree, such as your status page or API reference. Add them with Add sidebar link.

  • Footer links: up to 5, at the foot of every page, such as your terms and privacy policy. Add them with Add footer link.

They work like header links: a label and a full https:// address each. The preview shows the links as you add them, and Save changes saves all of them, with the Contact us button.
