Moving from another help center? Links to its old pages are in search results, old emails and your own app. Redirects send each old address to its new page, so those links keep working. Owners and admins add them in Settings → Domain, below your address settings. Redirects work on every plan.
Add a redirect
Open Settings → Domain and scroll to Add a redirect.
In Old address, enter the old page's path on your portal, like
/hc/en-us/articles/123-billing. You can also paste a whole address from your old site, and Tuti keeps its path.In New address, enter a path of your portal, like
/docs/billing, or a fullhttps://address anywhere.Choose Add redirect.
For the old address to reach Tuti, your portal needs to answer where the old help center did. Usually that means moving its domain to your portal. See Put your portal on your own domain.

See and delete redirects
The Redirects card lists them newest first, with how many you have out of 200. Each shows its old address and, below it, where it goes. Delete removes one straight away.
Each old address can have one redirect. To change where one goes, delete it and add it again.
How they work
Old addresses match whatever their capital letters, with or without a trailing slash, and whatever comes after a
?. They're saved in lowercase. What comes after the
?is passed on to the new address, unless the new address has its own.People are sent on with a permanent redirect, so search engines move the old page's place to the new one. Browsers don't remember it, so you can change a redirect at any time.
A new or deleted redirect takes effect within about 10 seconds.
Redirects apply before anything else, for everyone, on your Tuti address, your custom domain or your sub-folder. On a private portal, people are sent on before they're asked to sign in.
What you can't redirect
Your portal's home. Choose what it opens in Customize → Navigation, under Home page. See Navigation.
Your portal's own addresses, like sign-in and sign-up,
/sso,/api,/widget, the sitemap,robots.txtandllms.txt.An address to itself, or to or from another redirect's address. Point both at where people should end up instead, so redirects never go round in circles.
Old addresses longer than 500 characters, or new ones longer than 1,000.
