Each project has its own plan, paid through Stripe. Owners and admins manage it in Settings → Billing; other members don't see that page. To compare what the plans include, see Plans and what each includes.

Upgrade a project

  1. Open the project's Settings → Billing.

  2. On the Free plan, the Free plan card shows Free, Pro and Business side by side, with what each includes.

  3. Pick Monthly or Yearly. The prices change to match: yearly shows its price per month, such as "$32 a month, billed yearly".

  4. Choose Upgrade to Pro or Upgrade to Business.

  5. Pay on Stripe's payment page.

Stripe brings you back to Billing with "Thanks for your payment. Your plan starts here as soon as Stripe confirms it, usually within a few seconds." The card then shows the plan, its price and the date it renews, and the plan's AI credits are added to the project (see AI credits). If you leave Stripe's page without paying, nothing changes.

Change your plan, card or billing details

On a paid plan, the card shows the plan, its price and "Renews on" with the date, and Manage plan.

Manage plan opens Stripe's billing portal for this project. There you can:

  • Update the card.

  • See and download invoices.

  • Cancel the plan.

To switch between Pro and Business, or between monthly and yearly, email us at [email protected] with your project's address and the plan you want. Stripe's portal doesn't switch plans yet.

Every project is billed on its own. Manage plan only shows the project you opened it from, and changing one project's plan or card never touches another's. In Stripe, each subscription names its project, like "Tuti Pro for Acme (acme.tuti.so)".

Cancel a plan

  1. Open Settings → Billing and choose Manage plan.

  2. Cancel the plan in Stripe's portal, then return to Tuti.

The plan keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, and the card reads "Ends on" with the date. After that the project is on Free: nothing is deleted, but what Free doesn't include stops until you upgrade again. What happens on a lower plan has the details.

To start a plan again later, upgrade from the same Billing page.

If a payment doesn't go through

The plan card says "The last payment didn't go through. Stripe tries again; update the card in Manage plan." The plan keeps working while Stripe tries again. Choose Manage plan and update the card. If the payment never goes through, the project moves to Free.

Hide "Powered by tuti"

On Pro and Business you can hide the "Powered by tuti" badge at the foot of your portal for $49 a month, added to the project's plan.

  1. In Settings → Billing, under Hide "Powered by tuti", choose Hide the badge.

  2. The dialog says "$49 a month is added to this project's plan. You pay for the rest of this billing period now, with the card on the plan." Choose Hide the badge.

The badge is gone from your portal and the widget right away. To bring it back, choose Show the badge again: what's left of the period is credited to your next invoice. The add-on ends with the plan.

On Free the card says "Paid plans can hide the badge at the foot of the portal for $49 a month.", and Choose a plan takes you to the plans above. You can't hide the badge while a payment is failing. For the badge itself, see Branding.
